Ben for Ogden Support

We have known Ben and Jaynee for years and have had the opportunity to work alongside them coaching youth or while involved in the GOAL Foundation. He is passionate about Ogden and all of its residents and has a proven track record of collaborating for success. We can’t wait to see how his leadership will guide our city into the future.

I spent 36 years as a police officer with the Ogden Police Department, the last 4 as Chief of Police. During my tenure as Chief, and previously as an Assistant Chief, I worked closely with City Administration and the City Council. I found the City functioned best when these two entities, designed to offer checks and balances to power, fulfilled their respective roles while looking to the best interests of the City and its diverse constituents.

During my time as Chief, Ben Nadolski sat as a member of the City Council, and as Chair and Vice Chair. His love for the City and its constituents, his logical and reasoned approach to decision making, and his ability to manage conflict were on constant display. His abilities to persuade and influence enabled him to bring consensus to the Council team and avoid or suppress confrontation. He regularly demonstrated, in my opinion, the qualities of a leader.

The City has two solid candidates for the office of Mayor. The citizens of Ogden must choose the one who best meets their vision of CEO of the City. Ben’s leadership experience with the State of Utah, his City management experience as a member of the Ogden City Council, his multi-level connections with formal and informal City leaders, and his love for Ogden, his home, make him the best choice in my opinion.

I endorse Ben Nadolski for Mayor of Ogden City.

The one thing I learned during my tenure on the Ogden City Council was that being an effective community leader required first and foremost experience in the ways of government and governing.  Ben Nedolski has that experience.  He has served several terms as a city council person, including serving as Council Chair.  This has provided him with the tools necessary to hit the ground running as the Mayor of Ogden.  My husband and I will both be marking our ballots for Ben!

I support Ben for Mayor because of his ability to get things done and have been impressed with Ben’s work in the city, including his work on the Ogden River and as a Council member.  Ben is a man of integrity and has demonstrated a strong ability to build and maintain partnerships, and collaborate with people and organizations to get things done that benefit Ogden.  I believe Ben will be able to lead Ogden through current and future challenges, including responsible economic development, updating aging infrastructure, increasing access to affordable home ownership and a commitment to public safety to keep officers in Ogden.  Ben is committed to leading a city that works for its citizens, not against them, and has the experience and leadership skills to make that happen.

Ben is a champion for youth recreation and has worked hard to provide opportunities for leadership and growth through sport for all of Ogden’s kids.  We support Ben because we see his genuine love for the people of Ogden and know that he will always put people first.

We are proud to endorse Ben for Mayor because he is an advocate for small businesses and has worked to remove barriers so that the people and businesses of Ogden can succeed.  Ben’s leadership and experience will help guide Ogden and its people through our current and future challenges.

experiences with Ben I have seen his collaborative approach and his history of partnering with Weber County.

I endorse Ben because he’s a Mayor FOR THE PEOPLE.  He cares about the People of Ogden.  He has always made me feel heard, lending a listening ear. He cares passionately for our youth and thrives to make decisions that are best for the community.  He doesn’t make rash decisions without having all the information and is exactly what Ogden needs to bring the people together.  I truly believe he cares for each and every one of Ogden’s citizens exuding mutual respect with those who may hold different views than he does.  I endorse Ben because he is a peacemaker and recognizes that everyone may not agree with all of the decisions he makes, but will make those with a clear conscience based on what he feels is best for the people of Ogden.   Ogden needs a peacemaker, Ogden needs someone with a vision, Ogden needs transparency and Ogden needs trust.  Ogden needs Ben!

His excitement for programs that will help people is infectious. He is very approachable and is always genuinely interested in our thoughts and concerns. I have know Ben Nadolski for six years now. It all started when his wife Jaynee began coaching my daughter when she was in third grade. At the time, I had no idea how involved in the community both him and his wife were. Since then we have become great friends. We have spent countless week nights and weekends watching our kids thrive in sports. Ben gave my children the opportunity to compete in their favorite sports at a higher level when he introduced “Untamed” to our community. Without this program there is no way I could afford to have my children participate in competitive sports with coaches that genuinely care and volunteer their time to our youth. I have personally seen how much Ben cares about our community by showing up to events in support even though many times his own daughters weren’t participating. He has talked to us countless times about how important our youth is before he made the decision to run for Mayor. His decision to run for Mayor came from the heart to make positive changes in Ogden. Ben cares about everyone and anyone despite who they are. He has more than shown us as a community that he IS here to make changes which is why I fully support Ben as Mayor. He is what Ogden needs with a solid plan on fixing issues and preserving our great city. Not only does Ben care about our city he cares greatly about the people of Ogden. I am honored to have developed a friendship with both him and his wife because it has given me the opportunity to get to know them personally. I have nothing but appreciation and admiration for the Nadolski family. He has our full support!!! Ben for Mayor.

I have worked in Ogden City for the majority of my career and worked closely with Ogden City and Weber County elected officials. I have seen first-hand the difference the representatives can make in our community. I have worked alongside Ben professionally and personally. I have seen his work ethic and passion for positive change in our city. I have watched Ben and Jaynee commit countless hours volunteering as coaches and coordinators in Ogden City Youth recreation and the difference in the caliber of the program Ben has been able to advocate and execute.
